Paver Program

Plain Township is excited to introduce its new "Paver Program"!This effort is a means to create an opportunity to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, retirements, memorials, special people and/or pets, as well as advertise your local business.

To purchase a paver, fill out the order form and mail or drop off with cash or check made out to "Plain Township Trustees" to the Plain Township Hall located at 2600 Easton Street NE, Canton, 44721.

Unveiling dates to be announced periodically and all purchasers from now going forward will be notified. Purchase a paver today and support your Plain Township Parks!

Messy Hands

The Plain Township Parks Department invites parents and their little ones, ages 2 -5 years, to get creative.

The class gives children and parents a wonderful bonding experience through everyday arts and crafts project items used in incredibly creative ways! Plain Township and its Parks Department encourage parents to dress kids in older clothes because we promise to get "MESSY"!

Parent/Guardian participation is Required. Space is Limited.

Supper Market & Food Truck Round Up

Plain Township will be hosting its "Supper Market" at Schneider Community Park from 5:00-7:30 P.M. on the first and third Monday of the month between May 18th and August 17th.

The Supper Market is Plain Township's unique twist to traditional farmers' markets found throughout Stark County. Food Trucks will be providing prepared food in an open market atmosphere.

BarkAPawLooza

What is a BarkAPawLooza? A free party for pooches and their human companions at our very own Schneider Community Dog Park! Bring out your pooches and pups for a dog-gone fun day to raise funds for our community dog park.

Walking Club

Come and enjoy a walk on the field inside the lovely Diamond Sports Complex. Walk quickly, slowly, or however you wish! Twelve laps around the indoor field are equal to one mile. For a real challenge, walk upstairs to the Mezzanine, then across and down, equal to one lap. To help keep the field beautiful, please bring clean walking shoes to be worn inside.
