The Plain Township Parks and Recreation Department currently totals 102 acres, which includes Alpine Park, Diamond Community Park, and Schneider Street property.   The department serves Plain Township residents by preserving open space, offering programs for Township residents of all ages, and creating active and passive recreational experiences.   Our goal is to enhance people's lives and the community they live in.
Parks and Recreation Department offers:
60 Acres of Developed Park Land
Indoor Soccer, at Recreational or Competitive Levels
Spring and Fall Outdoor Soccer
Rental Opportunities, which include Shelters (2), Indoor Sports Complex, and Community Room

Advertise With Us
The Plain Township Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to invite you to participate in our advertisement program. Plain Township's Park's Department includes two developed parks and a future third park, which will be 42 acres and located across from Glen Oak High School. Your advertisement would be displayed at the popular Diamond Community Park, with proceeds from your sponsorship helping all three parks with the continued development and growth that is necessary to support the needs of the community.
With over 250,000 park users annually, Diamond Community Park is the perfect place to advertise your company. Diamond Community Park's Sports Fields/Complex is the host of two indoor soccer sessions, hundreds of hours of indoor field rental time, local colleges for off season sport practices, International Soccer Club Season Finale, 2009 Bothwell Cup, GAASA, GSCASL and State League soccer games, Community Soccer Club spring and fall outdoor soccer program, Plain Local Baseball/Softball league practices and games, annual Easter Egg Hunt, park programs, over 300 user days inside the community room and much more!
