General Recycling
  Self-service recycling sites are open seven days a week, from dawn to dusk, at the following locations:
  • Diamond Community Park, 2782 Diamond Street NE (west parking lot)
  • Saint Michael Church, 3430 St. Michael Drive, NW
  • Taft and Day School grounds (located on Salway NW)
  Recyclables should be separated as follows:

Tire Recycling
  Two Stark County recycling drop-off sites accept tires as follows: 12 tires per person per year off the rim (4 per person each time).   Car and light truck tires only.

    Collection Hours: Every Tuesday and Thursday between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., every last Tuesday of the month from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    Call 330-430-7869 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to schedule an appointment. Appointments are necessary to ensure safe material handling.

Aluminum Cans
  Cans are collected at all Plain Township Fire Stations to benefit the Aluminum Cans for Burned Children Program (ACBC).
