  Self-service recycling sites are open seven days a week, from dawn to dusk, at the following locations:
  • Diamond Community Park, 2782 Diamond Street NE (west parking lot)
  • Glenwood Intermediate School, 1015 44th St NW
  • Oakwood Middle School, 2300 Schneider St NE
  • Saint Michael Church, 3430 St. Michael Drive, NW
  • Taft and Day School grounds (located on Salway NW)

Yard Waste
  Two yard waste drop-off sites are available for residential use:

    Closed for winter from January 10 to March 23, 2014.

    March - April: Open 7 days per week, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Beginning May: Open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  All materials are to be unloaded and emptied from bags by residents. Yard waste such as grass clippings, leaves and branches will be accepted. PLASTIC BAGS, TREATED WOOD AND BUSINESS YARD WASTE ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Tire Recycling
  Two Stark County recycling drop-off sites accept tires as follows: 12 tires per person per year off the rim (4 per person each time).   Car and light truck tires only.

Aluminum Cans
  Cans are collected at all Plain Township Fire Stations to benefit the Aluminum Cans for Burned Children Program (ACBC).
